TLC Puppy Love is a family owned kennel with a petite selection of puppies for sale. Our first concern is the welfare of our babies. Our puppies are a part of our family and we handle them daily. From birth, they are introduced to children and are properly socialized for their new family.
We carry Shih Tzus, Imperial Shih Tzus, Yorkies, and Teacup Yorkies We also carry a line of Specialty Designer Pups know as Maltipoo/ Shih Tzu mix, Shihpoo, Shorkie Tzu, Maltapoo and and Chi a poos. Our breeds have modest litters, so we keep a first come, first serve policy.
Our puppies are family pups when they come to you. They are handled daily by our family which includes young children. This is done so they will not be afraid when they go to their new home.
The puppies have their first veterinarian visit when they are one day old. Later, they go back to the vet to be wormed and dewclaw. If the breed requires it, they have their tails docked. When the puppies arrive to their new home they come with up-to-date shots, worming, a health certificate.
We have a high success rate of presenting the puppies pad trained. However, success is dependent on the owner continuing the training process.
We never buy litters to sell. ALL of our puppies are from our family pets and are never put in a small pen like pet stores. The puppies have a playpen and play area to get plenty of exercise. The puppies are not separated from their mother until six weeks old where they are put with another litter mate at night in a condo. Then on week 7 they go by their self to sleep in the condo.This is to prepare them to sleep by their self before going to their new home. This transition period is being successful as testimonies have come back stating their puppy goes in their condo and straight to sleep without all the puppy crying from litter separation you usually get from purchasing a new puppy. We like to separate them before they are picked up,so they don't cry all night for your first evening together. If the puppies are purchased without a separation period, it is stressful for both the baby and the the mother.
